A first for a SHIMANO shoe, our new 360° surrounding upper wraps the foot in a supportive cocoon from the upper all the way around the outsole.
We overcame many material and engineering hurdles to create this revolutionary structure that creates a supremely engineered fit, unparalleled stability and lightweight performance for all riders.

FUNCTION SPECIFIC ZONES OPTIMUM RIGIDITY & FLEXIBILITY

Reinforced mesh and Microfiber leather upper materials are arranged and layered in targeted performance zones to maximize fit, flexibility, rigidity and breathability.
It took equal parts science and art to complete this engineering puzzle.

ANTI-TWIST STABILIZER ACCELERATING PERFORMANCE

Anti-twist stabilizer is built to handle the intense twisting forces caused by explosive acceleration. We used foot movement studies and pedaling visualizations to redesign the shoe’s structure to support more aggressive acceleration.
